The Anesthesiology Department of RajaRajeshwari Medical College and Hospital continued to excel at the Annual National Conference (ISACON 2019) conducted this year in Bengaluru from Nov 25-29th. Dr. Rangalakshmi, Prof & HOD, Department of Anesthesiology, was invited to present a guest lecture on Local Anaesthetics Systemic Toxicity (LAST) for the CME program and she was also selected as a judge for the prestigious Jaipur Award Category. Dr. Karthik was part of the judging committee for the E Poster presentation. The post graduate students showed remarkable aptitude as 7 students from RRMCH were selected for the Trainee Talent category out of 20 students at the national level. In the various categories of KOPS awards, 7 papers from RRMCH post graduate students were presented. A total of 14 candidates participated in the various academic presentations. Dr Navyashree K. S. won the second prize for The Jaipur Award Paper and Dr. Shubha M. R. secured the second place in Trainee Talent category. Both students received a medal and a cash prize. RRMCH team also presented a cultural program that was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated at the national conference. ISACON 2019 was a grand success and a proud moment for the college.
