Dr.E.R.Siddeshi (Prof & HOD of Gastroenterology) gave a practical approach to diagnose and treat upper and lower GI bleeds. The role of proper history taking, relevant investigations and appropriate treatment was high lighted. Newer modalities of treatment were discussed.

Dr.Jeevan (Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology) gave a comphrensive approach to diagnose and treat inflammatory bowel disease and the new modalities to manage both ulcerative colitis and crohn’s disease.

Dr.Manjunath (Associate Professor of Gastroenterology) gave a practical approach to diagnose and treat acute liver failure. The various etiologies, relevant investigations and various treatment modalities including liver transplantation was highlighted.
