About the Programme:
CME on good clinical practice was organized by RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital Institutional Ethics Committee (RRMCH-IEC) and Department of Pharmacology at Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital on 20th June 2019, Thursday from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. We had two eminent guest speakers Dr. Dhiraj R.S from St. John’s Research Institute and Dr. Anuradha from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College.
Dr. Dhiraj delivered his talk on overview of Good clinical practice, and ethical considerations in clinical trial. Dr. Anuradha delivered on roles and responsibilities of stake holders and safety reporting and compensation issues. They gave us complete insight about the topic with wonderful examples. The overall programme was very interactive and audience were able to clear lot of doubts related to research and clinical trial. Both the speakers were well versed in their area and also provided us with many links for online course. A total of 47 delegates including all IEC members attended the program.
Dr. Prema. R and Dr. Basavaraj Bhandare’s team did a wonderful job and made this programme a grand success.
