Department of OBG has organised a Guest Lecture on “The Imagining Care“.

International guest lecture was arranged by Department of OBG, Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital and Rajarajeswari college of Nursing on 19.11.2019 at RRMCH, Bangalore. Dr. Harshad Sanghvi, Vice President of Innovations and Medical Director of Public Health, John Hopkins, Jhpeigo Baltimore, USA spoke on Reimagining care.
The session was chaired by Dr.Hema Divakar, CEO, ARTIST, FOGSI Ambassador to FIGO, Medical Director, Divakar Specialty Hospital, Bangalore. The guest lecture was coordinated by Dr. Nagarathnamma R. BSOG President, Prof and Unit Head RRMCH and Dr. Gomathy Narayan was the observer.
It was well conceived topic aimed at both medical and nursing faculties and students. Total 205 delegates attended the lecture including HOD of other departments, nursing college principal, Nursing superintendent, Medical college faculties and final year nursing students.
Reimagining care a novel topic for Indian health care scenario at its infant steps in India. Reimagining care widely accepted in international levels making health care responsibility of midwives and doctors for better care for patients.
The novel but basic concept of health care was well taken by audience and well appreciated by one and all.
