Rajarajeswari Medical college and hospital, RGUHS, Bangalore in association with Medical Education and Learning Point, New Delhi [A division of Quality Council of India] had organized IA & QMS – RRMCH : 2017 from 7th to 10th February 2017 at Kadamba Auditorium, RRMCH, Bangalore. 51 participants from various Medical Colleges & Hospitals in Karnataka, Cochin and Hyderabad had participated.

IA & QMS-RRMCH: 2017
A National Training Programme on ISO 15189: 2012 was organized by department of Pathology, Microbiology and Biochemistry from 7th to 10th February 2017 in Kadamba auditorium, Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital with SIX credit hours from Karnataka Medical Council.
The training programme was compered by Dr. Sadaf Idris and 52 participants from different parts of south India had participated in this programme. This programme started with registration followed by Introduction of the participants in a lively fashion. Dignitaries of the day were Medical Director – Dr. Ramachandra, Dean – Dr. H. V. Shetty, Academic co-coordinator PG studies- Dr. Usharamachandra, Guest speaker – Dr. Neeraj Jain, Dr. Rohini kalhan, Medical Superintendent- Dr. Govindaraju, and ISO co-coordinator – Dr. Ramachandrappa. Lamp lighting was followed by welcome speech by Dr. Sangeetha, Prof & HOD, Microbiology. Dean addressed the gathering followed by guest speaker. Mr. A. C. Shanmugam, chairman, Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital honoured the guest speakers and KMC observer.
First session was started by Dr. Neeraj Jain in the presence of Karnataka Medical Council Observer Dr. Mahesh. H. S. Later on the sessions were covered by Dr. Rohini kalhan and Dr.Vamseedhar Annam. The programme was conducted in Theory mode, Practical Exercises and Demonstration with examples. The four days course was successfully completed with active participation of all the participants.
Certificates were issued to all the participants by our guest speakers, Dean and Academic Co-ordinator. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Usha S. M. R, Prof & HOD, Biochemistry.
