Department of Microbiology has organised a Pre-Conference workshop for MICROCON 2018 – Hospital Infection Control.

Pre-Conference Workshop on HOSPITAL INFECTION CONTROL; was conducted by Department of Microbiology, RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital, Bengaluru, under the aegis of 42nd Annual conference of INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGISTS, MICROCON-2018 on 28th November 2018 from 9am to 5pm.
There were 50 participants from all over India. Dr. Purva Mathur from AIIMS, New-Delhi; Dr. Anil kumar from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi; Dr. Joy Sarojini Michael from CMC, Vellore; Dr. Satish Amarnath from Manipal Hospital, Benagluru and Dr. Sangeetha S, Prof. &HOD, Microbiology, RRMCH, Bengaluru were expert Speakers on this occasion. Important & Interesting topics on Hospital Infection Control delivered by them were educative & informative.
In addition to guest orations 6 group activities conducted by the faculty of Department of Microbiology, RRMCH, Bengaluru were of immense practical application to the participants.
The Workshop was inaugurated by lighting lamp by the Dean, Director, Director PG Studies, CEO, Principal. The workshop was co-ordinated by Dr. Sangeetha S, Prof. & HOD, Microbiology, RRMCH, Bengaluru, Dr. M R Chandrashekar, was the KMC observer. The Workshop was granted 2 credit points by KMC.
