The department of paediatrics at Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital celebrated World Pneumonia day with a theme of “Pneumonia affects All” by an informative community awareness programme at Paediatrics OPD.
The event was organized under the leadership of Professor and HOD of Paediatric Department Dr. Adarsh E and with co-ordination from Dr. Rajanish K.V, professor of paediatrics.
The programme was inaugurated by a Symbolic gesture of watering a plant followed by a community awareness programme by Dr. Rajanish K. V, Dr. Adarsh E, Dr. Manjushree, Dr. Paneendra with the help of Visual aids with respect to what is Pneumonia and preventive aspects of Pneumonia.
The program was attended by around 50 parents with their children, teaching and non teaching staff of paediatrics, post graduates, interns and students.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks in making the programme a grand success.
