The National Doctors Day 2019 was celebrated on 31st July 2019 at Kadamba Hall, RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital.
It was an over whelming program decorated by the presence of the Guest of Honor Padmashri Dr. K S Gopinath, prof. of Surgery & oncology, Sri Devraj urs Medical College, Tamaka, Kolar whose words were of high motivational content.
Our charismatic Dean Dr.Sathyamurthy.B graced the occasion by his Welcome address which was followed by the vice principal rendering the introductory speech about the honorable guest.and then it was the Felicitation ceremony where in two doctors of Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital, the first one being Dr. Prema Dhanraj, a veteran medical genius, the Head Of Department ,Plastic Surgery and Reconstruction was felicitated by the Respected Dignitaries for her marvelous achievements and innumerable contributions towards the field of Plastic Surgery and Reconstruction
The second Felicitation was for another Eminent, Dr. ShivaKumar, Professor of Ophthalmology, RRMCH who was given the honors for his immense contributions towards Ophthalmological Innovations. and then it was them most awaited aspect of the day, Movie by the name “GAME ON” by Dr. Santosh Achappa, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine, RRMCH. It was a feastto Everyone’s Eye. The magnificent quality and the content of the movie was Cherished by the audience. It was 18 minutes of absolute excellence.
Then finally the exuberant ceremony came to an end by the Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Praveen delivering the Vote of Thanks.
