Summer School Program France

RRMCH students were selected and participated for simulation in Healthcare Summer School Program, France! RRMCH is very contented to announce that our II year MBBS students. 1. Mr. Krishnan Ravi Anoop 2. Ms. Lale Gundurao, Anusha 3. Ms. Seshadri, Vaishnavi 4. Ms. Nagaraj, Janani 5. Ms. Hesaragatta Satishwarachar, Manasa Were short listed and selected for simulation in Healthcare of Summer School Angers – FRANCE, University of Angers. They have attended the program for 2 weeks from 21st June to 6th July 2019. The training program offered the students the practical and individualized instruction based on simulation. Technical known how essential to medicine was taught by experts doctors across Europe from each medical or surgical discipline. There were several workshops organized for the students, among them: 1. Teaching anatomy 2. Cardio pulmonary auscultation 3. Born Chial fibrosopy 4. First aid procedures 5. Newborn care and Pediatric Resuscitation 6. Gynecological examination and child birth 7. Urinary drainage 8. Surgical Sutures 9. Laparoscopy 10. Emergency communication 11. Gynecological examination and Child birth 12. Breaking bad news to the patient 13. Neurological examination and lumbar puncture High Fidelity simulation scenarios like Emergency Room Response, Laparoscopic procedures were conducted. There was one OT day in which we could attend OT procedures of any departments of student’s choice. The students were also tested at the end on the skills they learned. They were also taught by doctors from the University and from Europe like P.Bigot, G .Legendre, G. Podevin etc. The Staff and Doctors over there were very helpful and instructed the students very efficiently and thoroughly and were most understanding and patient. It was a most interesting and informative experience that the students had and are grateful to have received a chance to attend this training program and they have come away with more medical knowledge learnt through it.
