Children’s Day Celebration

Department of Pediatrics celebrated Children’s day on 14.11.18 under the guidance of Dr. Adarsh, Prof and HOD, Department of pediatrics RRMCH.

Our celebration began with a prayer service by the staff Nurse followed by various cultural programs, where Children were given the Opportunity to exhibit their talent. Not just the children, our doctors too took active part in the cultural Programmes and Various Games. The Programmes included informative plays, Enactment, songs and dances.
A tribute was paid to the Indian’s 1st Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. A small speech was given about him to enlighten children about his role and achievements.
Combined with in-patients and out-patient children, we had also called the children from Balya Ashrama, Around 80 children had participated for the celebration of Children’s Day.

Dr. Adarsh Prof and HOD – Department of Pediatrics, RRMCH, gave a warm welcome to the staffs and the Ashram kids. The programme included Cake cutting denoting the children’s day, followed with a skit and dance performance by the kids. Sports games were also organized for children like lemon and spoon, ball in the bucket, Musical chair and many more.
Various games was also organised to the doctors and special game was conducted to the staffs to identify other staffs childhood photos.
Dr. Adarsh concluded the programme with a vote of thanks for making the Children’s Day a grand success.

Our department headed by Dr. Adarsh E organized this Programme which showcases the love of Comparison towards the children’s.
Our little Chief guests, Children were pampered with Gifts & Delicacies. Children’s were appreciated for their Talent and Encourage for the same. Vote of thanks was proposed by our head of the Department Dr. Adarsh E.
We were all Children Once, We shall share the desire for the wellbeing of all children, which has always been and will continue to be the most- cherished aspiration of us.
