25th Interns Orientation Program

25th Batch Interns Orientation Program was organized by the Department of Microbiology on 26/04/2022 at Kadamba hall. The Program started with a welcome speech by Dr. Lakshminarayana S. A., Professor and HOD of Microbiology. Dr. Sathyamurthy B., Dean, RRMCH congratulated and advised interns regarding roles and responsibilities of Indian Medical Graduate. Dr. Naveen S., Principal spoke about the discipline to be followed by the interns during their internship. Later the 1st addressing was done by Dr. Sahajananda H, Professor of Anesthesia regarding the case sheet writing and consent taking, followed by Dr. Rajashree, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, spoke on the ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ while sample collection and transportation to the lab for investigations. Next Dr. Yashaswini M K, Associate Professor of Microbiology, gave a talk on infection control practices and BMW management. Vaccination status of inters was documented. Oral feedback was taken after the program. Around 190 students attended the program. The program came to conclusion by vote of thanks from Dr. Lakshminarayana S A.
