Anti-Ragging Week 2025

RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital (RRMCH), Bengaluru, observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August 2025 with a series of engaging and impactful activities aimed at raising awareness about the dangers and consequences of ragging among students.

Inaugural Rally

The Anti-Ragging Week was officially flagged off on 12th August 2025 with a rally organized around the campus. The event was graced by:
Dr. Sathya Murthy B – Dean
Dr. Basavaraj Bhandare – Principal
Dr. Praveen Kumar – Medical Superintendent
Dr. Sangeetha Sampath – Chairperson, Anti-Ragging Committee (ARCC)

They were joined by MBBS Phase III Part II students, interns, postgraduates, and the Anti-Ragging Team. The rally served to create awareness about the perils of ragging and emphasized the institution’s zero-tolerance policy towards such acts.

Postgraduate students participated enthusiastically in a Reels Competition, using creative short videos to promote anti-ragging messages.
