Ayudha Puja Celebration 2025
Ayudha Puja was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital on 27th September 2025, as part of the Navaratri festival. This auspicious occasion, dedicated to the worship of tools, instruments, and machinery, symbolizes gratitude towards the implements that support our daily work and progress.
The celebration began with the traditional cleaning and decoration of all equipment, machines, and vehicles used within the institution. They were adorned with flowers, sandalwood paste, and vermilion, highlighting the cultural reverence for tools as an extension of divine energy.
The puja was performed by the priest, invoking blessings of Goddess Saraswati (goddess of knowledge), Goddess Durga (symbol of strength), and Lord Vigneshwara. Faculty, Non Teaching staff, and students participated in the ceremony with sincerity and devotion.
Dr. Vijayanand, Executive Director-RRGI participated in each puja and wished all the staff and students with distributing sweets.
The event concluded with the distribution of prasadam and a spirit of renewed dedication towards work and learning. Ayudha Puja served as a reminder that knowledge, tools, and skills are sacred and must be used with responsibility and respect.
