Day 1 of the Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) covered essential aspects of competency based medical education including group dynamics, learning domains, framing learning objectives,teaching–learning methods, and assessment strategies. The sessions were interactive,informative, and provided participants with practical approaches to integrate into their teaching.
The day concluded with participants gaining confidence in applying CBME principles and an improved understanding of interactive teaching–learning methods and assessments.

Day 3 of the program focused on equipping faculty with practical skills in lesson planning, clinical skill assessment, mentoring, academic growth, and competency-based scheduling.
Day 3 of the FDP successfully met its objectives by strengthening faculty capacity in lesson planning, assessment, mentoring, and academic scheduling within a competency-based framework. The sessions blended theoretical insights with practical applications, contributing to the professional growth of participants.
