BEC Education series program on Haematology

Department of Pathology in association with Beckman Coulter has organised a Education Series Program in Title : BEC Education series program on Haematology. Date : 24th April 2019 Time : 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm Venue : Kadamba Hall (College Auditorium) ALL ARE CORDIALLY INVITED. About the Programme: The CME was conducted on “Newer advances in day to day haematology” by the Department of Pathology in association with Beckman coulter. The invited guest faculty 1. Dr. Moner Ragas- Scientific marketing manager for HGM 2. Dr. Shabnam Roohi- Lab director Sakra world hospital 3. Mr. Venugopal shiva- Key account manager for BEC The faculty and post graduates of Pathology along with faculty from various departments and MBBS students have attended the same in Kadamba hall from 2.00PM to 4.00 PM. Dr. Moner Ragas introduced the new DXH900 analyzer and spoke about its utilization in early detection on sepsis. Dr. Shabnam Roohi in detail about superior flagging on BEC systems which reduced smear review. Mr. Venugopal Shiva delivered a lecture on technology on principle of Beckman coulter analyzer. There was an interactive session between students and the guest speakers. The post graduate students were greatly benefitted with the crisp presentation of newer advances. The faculty members of the Department appreciated the academic content of the CME The guest speakers were felicitated by the HOD of Pathology on conclusion of the workshop.
