“Freshers orientation program” boosts students’ confidence
28th Aug 2013 was one of most awaited day for the RRMCH freshers as it was the day ‘one day orientation program’ was held for all the first semester UG students and the campus was buzzing with excitement.

The program took place from 11 am to 4 pm in College auditorium, attracting an enthusiastic response from the students. The first year MBBS students were in full swing, as well as all pre-clinical staff members.

Dr. Jamuna B.L. Associate Professor of Physiology compered the program where MEU members also were present. Dr.D.L.Ramachendra, Medical director welcomed the gathering and congratulated all the students for joining this prestigious institution.</p

Dr.Sathymurthy.B, Prof & HOD of Anatomy and vice principal, explained the study methodology for 1st MBBS, to the freshers. He also briefed students about the examination pattern, method to study, time management & conduct/behavior in the class & campus. His speech was very well received by the students.

After that,Mrs. Jyothi.A.N, HR of RRMCH spoke on communication skills. She elaborated the importance of communication, factors affecting the communication and put an emphasis on positive communication skills. In total, the training session was interactive and thoroughly enjoyed by the gathering.

Student groups participate with curiosity to learn
The sessions were designed in a way to suit the purpose of the fresher students who are just to begin their academic sessions. In the afternoon, students were categorized into small groups of 25 members each to orient about the hospital, laboratory, college & library. Each group was headed by one assistant professor from pre clinical departments.
