Breast Feeding Health Education Programme

A health education programme to observe World Breastfeeding Week was conducted in Channasandra UHTC on 14th August 2025. The topic for health education was this year’s theme i.e. “Prioritise Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems”. Beneficiaries included antenatal and postnatal mothers residing in Channasandra. The programme was conducted by Dept. of Community Medicine, RRMCH in association with Dept. of Paediatrics, RRMCH, Rotary International Organisation and RajaRajeswari College of Nursing. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr Srividya V, Professor & HOD and Dr Shashikala Manjunatha, Senior Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine by Dr. Manasa A R (Assistant Professor cum I/C, Channasandra, Dept. of Community Medicine), Mrs. Annapurna (MSW, Dept. of Community Medicine) and staff of Channasandra UHTC.
