Childrens Day 2019

Department of Pediatrics celebrated “Children’s Day” in commemorating the Birthday of Chacha Neheru Ji. Children’s Day: November 14th, a day dedicated for children was celebrated with great enthusiasm and décor at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital by the Department of Pediatrics. Programs were well organized by Dr. Adarsh E, HOD and Prof, Dept of Pediatrics and the staff as well. The occasion was graced by Dr. Vijay Anand.S-Executive Director, Dr. Sathya Murthy – Dean, Dr Naveen – Principal, Dr Pravin G U, Prof, Dept of Radialogy & Dr. Praveen – Prof, Dept of ENT- Medical Superintendent. The program started with inauguration by lighting the lamp and also cutting the cake by the children. The kids performed many programs, Post Graduates and staff performed group dance, Pick and enact and many other various games. Cakes and sweets were distributed to all the children. Games which gave a great fun to the kids were organized. Competitions like drawing, Fancy dress and many more were conducted for inpatient children. Post Graduates and staff were shinning bright with their uniform dress code with a common tag line on it as ‘IT TAKES A BIG HEART TO TOUCH LITTLE MINDS’. Prizes and gifts were distributed after the cultural events. Lunch was provided to all the children and was served with a great affection. The event concluded with a great success by the team efforts of staff and PG’s of Department of Pediatrics.
