CME – Dept of Anaesthesiology

CME was organized by the department of Anaesthesiology and critical care on 10th Dec 2021 in Kadamba Auditorium at 2-15 PM. Dr.Shashikanth Manikappa from Monash Health, Melbourne ,Australia was the speaker. Dr Sahajananda, welcomed Dr.Shashikanth Manikappa who is a very experienced clinician with multiple academic and clinical qualifications. He has worked in various institutions in India and Abroad. He has been a workshop trainer in various fields like iHeartscan ,TOE etc. Sahajananda also welcomed the CEO, Dean Medical superintendant, Heads of various departments, faculty members and Postgraduate students. 125 members attended the CME. Dr. Shashikanth Manikappa delivered a lecture on “Australian Approach to the management of Covid 19”. He also mentioned briefly about new variant Omicron strain and its effects. There was a healthy discussion at the end of lecture by the audience. Dr. Shashikanth Manikappa was felicitated by Medical Superintendent with a gift. Meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Dr.Sahajananda.
