CME on Organ Transplantation in Children

Department of Pediatrics conducted a CME on “Organ Transplantation in children”. The CME was organized by the department of Pediatrics at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital building, 6th floor, pediatric demo room on 11th Feb 2022 for one whole day. The speaker guest for this program was Dr. Mahesh Gopashetty, Transplant and Liver Surgeon. The guest spoke about the Organ Transplantation in Children, discussed about overview of transplantation done in children. He also discussed about liver transplantation and on how to choose the patients. He also spoke about the treatment given prognostically, and the speech included a discussion on transplantation of pancreas also. On the intact Dr. Mahesh enlightened the Pediatric department about Organ Transplantation primarily focusing liver transplantation in children to the staff and post graduates who all were present in the program. The program came to end with a vote of thanks.
