Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen was a German physicist who produced and detected electromagnetic radiation in a wavelength range today known as X-rays or Rontgen rays on 8th November 1895, an achievement that earned him the first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901.

This year being the 123 rd year of discovery of X ray – the Department of Radio Diagnosis, RajaRajeswari Medical Collage and Hospital in association with IRIA Karnataka state branch organized a CME on 8th November 2017 commemorating the discovery of X ray.

The theme of the CME was “ART OF IMAGING HEART” which focused on the basics and latest advances in cardiac imaging. We had reputed speakers from all over the state share their immense knowledge in the subject and enlighten the audience about the art of imaging heart covering all modalities of imaging. It was well attended by the postgraduates and staff from various colleges.
