Diabetic Camp – Meet & Greet

A Virtual type 1 diabetic camp was organized by the department of pediatrics, RRMCH on 27/01/2021 from 12 noon to 1 pm on Google meet platform. Many patients along with the parents of the type 1 DM patients participated in the event and all of their doubts and questions were answered by the experts. The programme started with a warm welcome from Dr. Adarsh E, HOD department of pediatrics followed by introduction by Dr. Sushma Rai, consultant pediatric endocrinologist. Dr. Prema R, professor of pediatric department, gave a talk on “Adolescent challenges in T1DM children”. Ms. Rathna jere, welfare officer, CDIC prime academy of Medical Science, gave a talk on “CDIC support for T1DM “. This was followed by valediction by Dr. Sowjanya G.T, pediatric endocrinologist, Assistant Prof Department of pediatrics. The Content of the meeting and its uniqueness were much appreciated by the participants.
