Doctors Day 2022

The Doctors Day was celebrated at Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital on 18.07.2022 at Kadambha Hall from 10:30 am. The chief guest for this occasion was Dr. Avinash Menon Rajendra, IAS, Dristrict Collector Ramnagar District and Dr. Vivek Jawali, renowned chief Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon, President- IACTS, was the Guest of Honor. The members present were Dr Vijayanand S – Executive Director, Mr. Seetharam – CEO, Dr. Sathyamurthy-Dean, Dr. Naveen – Principal, Dr. Praveen Kumar – Medical Superintendent, Dr. Praveen GU – Vice Principal (Administration), Dr. Basavaraj Bhandari – Vice Principal (Academics), Dr. Vivek – Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Priya – Cultural Coordinator and all the staff members. The program commenced with lighting the lamp by the guest and felicitation to the guests from Rajarajeswari Medical College management. Dr. Avinash, who is working as a District Collector after being a doctor in his own right, shared his experience with the medical students about the challenges he faced in his life as a doctor and also spoke about the importance of research, discovery and learning new technology in the medical profession, Dr. Vivek Jawali also expressed his opinion. Dr. Vijayananda, the Executive Director of Rajarajeshwari Group, distributed te Pito chair and hearing aid machine free of cost to the children suffering from cerebral palsy. Meanwhile, some cultural programs were also organized to honor the senior doctors of Rajarajeshwari Hospital. The program came to end with a high tea distributed to all the staff.
