Dr. Tanushree Sinha Secures Prestigious PG Award at KSCASICON 2026

We are proud to share that Dr. Tanushree Sinha, 3rd Year Resident, Department of General Surgery, RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital has won the prestigious Surgical Society of Mysuru PG Award for Best Paper Presentation at the recently held state conference KSCASICON 2026 in Raichur.

She earned this distinction for her research paper titled “A Short-term Prospective Comparative Analysis of TAPP vs TARM for Small Ventral Hernia.” The study provides valuable comparative insights into minimally invasive surgical approaches for small ventral hernia repair, contributing meaningfully to evidence-based surgical practice.

The paper was co-authored and guided by Dr. Bharath B., Professor, Department of Surgery, whose mentorship and academic guidance were instrumental in the successful execution of the research.
Dr. Tanushree emerged as the winner in a highly competitive award category, reflecting her academic rigor, clinical acumen, and dedication to surgical research.
