About the Programme: Workshop for the junior faculties and postgraduates conducted with the amalgamation of the departments General Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynecology with Dr. Venkatesh. S. and Dr. Sailakshmi HODs respectively. RRMCH is the first private medical college in the state to conduct this unique workshop. Recently practice of Surgery demands an evidence based approach. This workshop gives the delegates an overview of this process with hands on practical knowledge. Mandatory workshop, so that it will helpful to the young surgeons and postgraduates who want to improve their practice, do research, publish papers and writing dissertation. Program was conducted with concurrence of Karnataka association of surgeons and attended by its chairman Dr. Vidhyadhar Kinal from Bellary. Course Director Dr. K. Lakshman and his team members delivered the lecturers and demonstrated about how to write papers and publish. Also demonstrated about conducting Journal club and searching for the referrals. Course co-ordinator was Dr. K.S. Hanumanthaiah and the program was well attended by the postgraduates and faculties of both the department. Feedback from the workshop projected as excellent program and request for more programs like this.
