Glaucoma Week – 2023

World glaucoma_week is an initiative of the World Glaucoma organization in order to raise awareness about glaucoma and its effects on the eye. Healthcare providers especially ophthalmologists, and officials related to health care try to raise awareness regarding this issue by involving the general public through various activities. This year it was celebrated between 12th – 18th March 2023 with the theme “the world is bright, save your sight” The #ophthalmology Department of RRMCH took this week as a responsibility to educate the masses regarding a serious issue- glaucoma, which is famously considered a silent thief of sight and to catch it before the world appears no brighter.
