Guest Lecture on Hand hygiene and Bioshield product dilution and Demo for the floor mopping disinfectant and instrument disinfectants

Department of Microbiology had organized a guest lecture on Hand hygiene and Bioshield product dilution and Demo for the floor mopping disinfectant and instrument disinfectants for Housekeeping staff of the Hospital on 10th May 2022 form 12 noon to 1 pm in the hospital 6th floor Orthopaedic demo room in collaboration with Bioshield Tulip diagnostics Pvt Ltd. The program was started with introduction by Dr. Lakshminarayana S A, Prof. & HOD of Microbiology and speaker introduction and welcome by Dr. Sahajananda. Mr. Dasprasad V, delivered the talk on hand hygiene and surface disinfection & floor cleaning using disinfectants. Mr. Dasprasad V, Mr. Suraj kumar Pandey and Mr. Malleswar did hands on demonstration on the steps of hand hygiene method of dilution of disinfectants and method of cleaning the surface and the floor using 2 bucket system. The house keeping staff was also made to demonstrate the methods taught. Later the program was ended by vote of thanks to the speakers and NABH for arrangements by Dr. Lakshminarayana S A and snacks was given to all the staff participated by the Tulip company. Total of around 50 staff attended the program and it was successful.
