Installation Ceremony of Bangalore Adolescent Health Academy

The inauguration ceremony and installation of the new office bearers was graced by the chief guest Dr. Shobha Srinath, Ex-HOD NIMHANS and guest of honour Dr. Rajini P, Deputy director, mental health, Karnataka state health and family welfare. Medallions were exchanged in a solemn ceremony that followed. Past President Dr. Somashekar handed over the medallion to 2019 President Dr. Prema R,Professor of paediatrics Rajarajeswari medical college. Dr Prema addressed the need for adolescent care & her vision for year 2019 to the pediatricians assembled there.About 50 pediatricians graced the occasion at API Bhavan on 24thMar 2019. Inaugural CME was held at API Bhavan on 24th Mar 2019.Dr E V Raman, Otorhynolaryngologist, Manipal Hospital, spoke about ‘Decision making for neonatal and pediatric airway’.The session on ‘Common adolescent mental health concerns’ by Dr. Shobha Srinath, Ex-HOD, NIMHANS. The sessions were well received. There was time for question & answer sessions too.
