National Girls Child’s Day – 2022

The Department of Pediatrics, RRMCH, celebrated National girl child day on 24th January, 2022 in association with IAP-BPS, at RRMCH, College Auditorium. The celebration was graced by the Head of the Department, Dr. Adarsh. E, and all the staff from the department also. The celebration started with an enlightening talk on the importance of a girl child by Dr. Adarsh. E, HOD department of Pediatrics, followed by Dr. Prema, Professor, Adolescent pediatrics, gave a talk on various government schemes provided for the girl child now a days. The Interns and postgraduates from the department of pediatrics enacted a role play based on the theme “Think a world without a girl” followed by a beautiful walk with costumes representing the first Indian women achievers in various fields. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks.
