NMC certified Revised Basic Course Workshop -7th to 9th October 2021
NMC certified Revised Basic Course Workshop – was successfully conducted from 7th to 9th October 2021 at MEU room, 5th floor, RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital. This program was conducted by Medical education unit under the guidance of Dr Ishwara Bhat, MCI Observer from the nodal centre St Johns Medical college and Hospital. About 30 faculties from various disciplines including Dean Dr Satyamurthy B, Medical Superintendent Dr Praveen Kumar attended the workshop.
RBMET workshop was an interactive workshop with the aim to improve the quality of medical education by training the teachers. Program was designed to sensitize teachers about new concepts in teaching and assessment methods, develop knowledge and clinical skills required for performing the role of competent and effective teacher, administrator, researcher and mentor. The program also aimed to assist clinicians to acquire competency in communication, ethics and behavioral skills, and to update knowledge using modern information and research methodology tools.
The program began with registration and ice breaking by Dr Pravin GU, Vice principal. The sessions were conducted by 12 resource faculty. The workshop began at 8-45 am on all days and ended at 5pm. Pre test, post test, retro pre assessment test was conducted to know the success of the program.
The program ended with vote of thanks and feedback from the participants.
