OTOLOGY UPDATE & LIVE SURGERY -2016

Department of ENT-HNS conducted “OTOLOGY UPDATE & LIVE SURGERGICAL” workshop on July 9th -2016 with guest faculty surgeons- Dr.Deepak Dalmia and Dr.Vijayendra.H

All are cordially invited.

The program started with a introductory talk by Dr. Praveen kumar Associate professor, department of ENT-HNS followed by live surgical demonstration of Case 1: Right Chronic supportive otitis media, squamosal type with conductive hearing loss by Dr. Deepak Dalmia. Inauguration was done by our honorable dignitaries Dr. Govindaraj. K Medical superintendent, Dr. Deepak Dalmia, Mumbai, Dr.Vijaendra. H, Bangalore, Dr.T.M.Nagaraj,prof & HOD, RRMCH, Dr.Chennakeshava, KMC Co-coordinator followed by a welcome speech by Dr.T.M.Nagaraj, Prof and HOD of ENT- HNS, RRMCH.Live surgical demonstration of Case 2: Right otosclerosis was carried out.

Dr.Vijayendra.H gave an insightful Lecture on temporal bone clinical anatomy for the benefit of postgraduates. Without any delay other 2 – Case 3: Left aural polyp with Chronic supportive otitis media and Case 4: Left atelectactic ear live surgical demonstrations took place.

The event was implemented as planned in accordance with the essential areas of otology update and was a huge success.

The meeting was well attended by 75 members.
