Women’s Cricket League RRGI 2025: A Spectacular Showcase of Talent and Team Spirit
The Women’s Cricket League RRGI 2025 brought together 11 dynamic teams from various institutions, all competing with passion, determination, and sportsmanship. This year’s league proved to be an incredible platform for women cricketers to display their exceptional talent and teamwork, creating an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie.After a fierce competition and unforgettable matches, the final standings were as follows:
1st Place: RajaRajeswari College of Engineering – A well-deserved victory for the determined and skilled team, who played with exceptional strategy and team spirit.
2nd Place: Sri Chamundeshwari Medical College and Research Institute – A remarkable performance by the runners-up, who displayed resilience and determination throughout the tournament.
3rd Place: RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital – A fantastic achievement, securing third place through their consistency and competitive edge.
Each match was a testament to the growth and talent of women in sports, as teams played their best and supported one another every step of the way. The league not only celebrated the spirit of competition but also emphasized unity, empowerment, and the importance of women’s participation in cricket.
The event was an overwhelming success, and we look forward to continuing to promote women’s cricket and create more opportunities for female athletes in the future. Congratulations to all the teams and participants for their incredible performances!
PG orientation program in RRMCH was conducted on
03/03/2025 between
9:30 am to 1:00 pm for 1st year postgraduates of batch 2024-25. Postgraduates across all the departments attended the program. The program began with a warm welcome by the Dean Dr. Satyamurthy B. Sir provided an overview of the university’s values, mission, and vision, highlighting the importance of postgraduate studies in shaping future of the students.

The Department of Neurology, Raja Rajeshwari Medical College and Hospital hosted an enriching
Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on
“Epilepsy” on 28th February 2025. The event brought together medical professionals, including postgraduates and interns, for a series of insightful lectures and discussions on this important neurological disorder.
The CME was inaugurated by
Dr. Agadi, former Professor of Neurology, who shared his expertise with the audience. His talk focused on
“How to Read Medical Textbooks”, offering valuable guidance to aspiring students on effectively navigating and understanding medical literature.

Successful Endoscopic Removal of a Large Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma in a 14-Year-Old Adolescent Male Patient
The Department of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital (RRMCH) successfully performed a complex endoscopic surgery on a 14-year-old adolescent male diagnosed with a left-sided Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma (JNA) on 3rd February 2025. The diagnosis was confirmed through Contrast-Enhanced Computed Tomography (CECT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the nose and paranasal sinuses.

Kadamba Hall, RRMCH It was a highly informative session on Cochlear Implantation in celebration of Cochlear Implant Awareness Day. The event aimed to raise awareness about the life-changing benefits of cochlear implants and their role in improving communication and quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments.
