The Department of Psychiatry, RRMCH and Department of Community Medicine, RRMCH conducted mental health awareness program at various locations like Rajarajeswari College of Engineering, Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy, and Rajarajeswari College of Nursing,
ACS college of Engineering, Kagglipura and Chandrappa circle PHCs.
Staff as well as the PG students with interns spread awareness regarding importance of mental health, stressors, symptoms, and methods to tackle stressors, when to seek help and educate them about the importance of seeking timely help with a psychiatrist. This was followed by an interactive session which was open for questions and answers from the audience, all their concerns were addressed by the mental health professionals and whoever required further workup, were referred to Dept of Psychiatry RRMCH for detailed workup and counseling.
