The CPR committee in association with Quality Cell conducted training program for Paramedics, Drivers, Security personnel, Office Assistants, Supervisors, students, Computer operators, Patient bystanders (Lay public) and group D workers. A total of 280 members attended the program.
CPR video provided by NBEMS was displayed for the above audience, which lasted for 20 min, which was followed by an interactive session with the nodal officers in the local language (Kannada) followed by Hindi. We also used manikin for simulation of real life cardiac arrest conditions and its correct management according to AHA guidelines.
An overview of the steps, equipment used for early patient resuscitation and use of AED as per recent AHA guidelines was given.
Hands on training with manikins Basic Life Support were done under the guidance of Dr. Sahajananda.H, Dr. Sowmya MJ, and Dr.Rashmi.
The training was very effective and responsive.

70th annual national conference of Anesthesiologists ISACON 2023 held at Gurgram, Haryana. She was selected amongst 4000 participants all over India.

The season of Christmas that begins from Thanksgiving brings festivity and joy to everyone’s lives. Thanksgiving is the day when people thank the almighty for blessing them with harvest and also show gratitude towards all the good things and people around. On Christmas, people wish each other Merry Christmas and pray that the day takes away all the negativity and darkness from people’s life. Christmas is a festival full of culture and tradition. The festival entails a lot of preparations. Preparations for Christmas involve a lot of things including buying decorations, food items, and gifts for family members and friends. People usually wear white or red colored outfits on the day of Christmas. The celebration begins with decorating a Christmas tree. Christmas tree decoration and lighting are the most important part of Christmas. The Christmas tree is an artificial or real pine tree that people adorn with lights, artificial stars, toys, bells, flowers, gifts, etc. People also hide gifts for their loved ones. Traditionally, gifts are hidden in socks under the tree. It is an old belief that a saint named Santa Claus comes on the night of Christmas eve and hides presents for well-behaved kids. This imaginary figure brings a smile to everyone’s face.
Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, primarily observed on
December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.

Christmas Celebration at RRMCH was organized on 22nd December 2023. All Students and staff had come with striking attire. The college lobby was decorated beautifully with glitters and lights. A crib was also made beautifully arranged with the Christmas tree. One could easily notice the excitement of Christmas in everybody’s eyes. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the Christmas gala to start on. All the students with their friends enjoyed the occasion. There were a variety of performances by the students and many playoffs were also conducted among the students which they enjoyed the most. A staff dressed as Santa Claus paraded through the lobby cheering and singing songs of Christmas, handing out small gifts and handshakes. By the end of the program, the cakes were distributed to all the student and staff. It was a piece of cake with sweets wishing
“Happy Christmas”. On the whole the celebration went on with great significance and gratification.
