Good Governance Day is observed in India annually on the
twenty-fifth day of December, the birth anniversary of former-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Good Governance Day was established in 2014 to honor Prime Minister Vajpayee by fostering awareness among the Indian people of accountability in government.
The Department of Consumer Affairs is celebrating World Consumer Rights Day on
March 15, 2023. The theme for this year’s celebration is
“Empowering consumers through clean energy transitions”.
National Farmer’s Day or
Kisan Diwas 2022: It is celebrated annually on
23 December to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. He was the fifth Prime Minister of India and is remembered for the contributions made by him toward the upliftment of farmers across the country.
It is one of the important days in December.
National Energy Conservation Day 2023 is observed on
14th December. The day is observed by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) which is under the Ministry of Power, aiming for cost-efficient energy production and resource conservation.

International Anti-Corruption Day has been observed annually, on
9 December, since the passage of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption on 31 October 2003 to raise public awareness for anti-corruption.
On
25/11/2023, the department of ENT – HNS, organized the weekly clinical update in
Kadamba Hall, which was attended by Medical Superintendent
Dr. Praveen, Dean
Dr. Krishnamurthy, as well as principle,
Dr. Naveen, along with Staffs as well as post graduate students from all departments.
The clinical update was on the theme, What The Naked Eyes Cannot See, The Light Shows, explaining new technology which has revolutionized the detection of oral carcinomas, narrow band imaging, as well as Stroboscope as the new modalities to detect cancers, even in the beginning stages by Dr. Asma, and Dr. Najla respectively
The program was started by a keynote delivered by. Dr. T. M. Nagaraj, head of department of ENT HNS, introducing and talking about the incidence of oral carcinoma, and how it has become a menace, and the advent of newer, non-invasive technologies to determine the lesion.
International Civil Aviation Day
In 1996 the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed that
7 December was to be the International
Civil Aviation Day. The day has been celebrated by the International Civil Aviation Organization since 7 December 1994, the 50th anniversary of the signing the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
