Poster or Collage Competition

Department of Microbiology has organized a ‘Poster or Collage Competition’ on occasion of ‘World Hepatitis Day”. Date : 28.07.2021 Time : 11:30 am – 12:30 pm Venue : Practical Hall (Microbiology) College building, 3rd floor. The birthday of Nobel-prize winning scientist Dr Baruch Blumberg, who discovered hepatitis B virus (HBV) and developed a diagnostic test and vaccine for the virus is celebrated as World hepatitis day. In view of the World Hepatitis Day 2021 theme “Hepatitis can’t wait” Poster and College competition was organized by department of microbiology for MBBS 4th term students on 28/07/ 2021. Three Students participated in collage and four students participated in poster competition. Students had done the poster and collage related to hepatitis virus, its transmission, clinical features and prevention of hepatitis. Dr. Sharmila S.P, Professor of Pathology department judged the poster or college competition and Dr. Usha S, Professor of community medicine judged the poster competition. First and second prize was awarded for the winners and participants were given participation certificate. Following are the winners.
