Research methodology workshop for Post Graduates Day – 1

Date: 20th December 2023 Time: 9:00AM – 5:00PM Venue: Lecture hall, 1″ floor, College Building Research methodology workshop was conducted by Medical Education Unit (MEU) and Department of Community Medicine, RRMCH from 20th December 2023 to 22nd December 2023. First year postgraduates pursuing MD/MS courses and MPT students attended the workshop. The postgraduate students were oriented about planning their research studies in future. Topics included introduction to NPTEL platform, study designs, Basic and applied statistics, Review of literature, Reference writing, Journal review, Synopsis writing, Bioethics and common mistakes during synopsis and dissertation presentation. Guest speakers were invited to introduce and demonstrate Pro-quest platform for accessing journal articles and Drill bit, a Plagiarism check software. Pre and post tests were given to the postgraduate students and the workshop ended after taking feedback from them and distribution of participation certificates.
