RRMC IIC – Health Care Information Technology

RajaRajeswari Medical college Institutional Innovation Committee (RRMC IIC) had organized a talk on “ HEALTH CARE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ” on 5th February 2020 at 11.30am at Board room, RRMCH. Mr Valluvan, MCA (Singapore), CTO. Executive consultant, Pongu Ventures Pvt Ltd, was invited to deliver the talk. The talk was attended by 26 delegates. Dr.G.Vinoth. introduced the speaker. Mr Valluvan spoke on how Information technology or medical apps can be used to provide medical facilities. He introduced us to the concept of electronic health records and patient health records. He guided the students to the different ways of collecting data and storing it (like in a cloud) He also spoke about protecting the data. At the same time time disadvantages of the IT in Healthcare was discussed by the members [resent]. It was followed by an active interaction with the other staff co-ordinators of RRMC IIC and the students.
