RRMCH Primary Health Training Centre at Chunchunkuppe
Rural Health care is one of the biggest challenges facing INDIA today. With more population living in rural areas and low level of available health facilities, mortality rates due to diseases are on a high. Rural residents often experience barriers to healthcare that limit their ability to get the care they need. Private health care is expensive and it is also unaffordable by low income rural folks. In order to ensure that rural residents have sufficient Super Specialty healthcare access it is imperative that these health services are brought closer to their homes. Ideally, residents should be able to conveniently and confidently use services such as primary care, dental, behavioral health, emergency, and public health services very close to their homes.
To control the spread of diseases and reduce the growing rates of mortality due to lack of adequate health facilities, special attention needs to be given to the health care in rural areas.
RRMCH recently inaugurated a Primary Health Training Centre at Chunchunkuppe. The ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11 am and was inaugurated by Sri S T Somashekar, MLA Yeshwanthpur Constituency.
