Surgical Skill Training Workshop

Clinical Skill Lab is participating in Mobile Training for Surgical Skill Training Workshop on

Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Venue: RRMCH Campus

“Surgical Skills Training Workshop – 2022 ” was organized by the Department of Medical Education Unit and Clinical Skills Lab on 18th October, 2022 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital Campus.

This sessions were organized and facilitated by Dr. Yogesh MK- Joint Registrar, Dr. Anagha MV & Dr. Mythri G– Skill Lab Coordinator. The session ended with distribution of Certificates to all the participants and Resource Faculty.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Sathyamurthy B. – Dean, RRMCH. Dr. Praveen Kumar – Medical Superintendent, Dr. Pravin G U- Vice Principal (Administrative), Dr. Basavaraj Bhandare – Vice Principal (Academic) and Dr. Vivek G – Deputy Medical Superintendent were all present for the Inauguration along with the representatives Mr. Anand and Mr. Karthik from Johnson & Johnson Institute.

Heads of Department of General Surgery and OBG took an active participation along with their faculty members and residents. Hands on training was given in Knotting and Suturing; Bowel Anastomosis and Episiotomy and Perineal Repair. Simultaneously hands on workshop were conducted in Endo training to improve hand eye coordination.

Around 45 participants (Post graduates from Department of Generally Surgery and OBG ) were trained with the help of instructional videos and 20 Resource Faculty members in multiple sessions from 9am – 5pm inside the mobile center – Johnson and Johnson Institute on Wheels stationed at RRMCH, Bengaluru.
