Swachh Bharat Abhiyan – 2023

RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore commemorating the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, the ‘Father of Nation’ on October 2 had organized the program “Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan” on October 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM, which is the notable “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” started with the aim of fulfilling Mahatma Gandhi’s dream for keeping INDIA clean. The Chief Guest for this program was Mr. Siva Reddy, Inspector, Kumbalgodu police station. He arrived at RajaRajeswari Hospital and nearby service road was inaugurated the cleaning seva program which was properly managed and followed by the RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital Executive Director – Dr. Vijayanand S, Chief Executive Officer – Sri Sitaram, Dean – Dr. Sathyamurthy, Principal Dr. Naveen.S., Medical Superintendent – Dr. Praveen Kumar, Teaching and Non-teaching staff of the college. The students also actively participated in the program and joined hands in the cleanliness seva program. The main objective of this venture is to improve the general standard of living in rural areas through hygiene, sanitation, encouraging communities to adopt sustainable sanitation system, use of eco-friendly sustainable sanitary at low cost technology, scientifically solid / liquid waste management and much more.
