Last week, all roads led to RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital. There was lot of excitement in the air. RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, organised inter medical college fest “Synergia” from March 14th to 16th at the RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital campus. Number of sports, literary and cultural events had been lined up and hundreds of students across Karnataka took part in this event thus making it the most eagerly anticipated event. The Team Sports events like Basket ball, volleyball, Kabaddi saw medical colleges from out-side Bangalore like Kolar, Mandya, Mangalore medical colleges taking part, cricket matches were being played at the newly built cricket stadium which is at par with any professional cricket pitch. Literary events like Debate, Essay in both Kannada and English also saw a huge turnout and there had been a tremendous enthusiastic response for these events also. Cultural events like Kannada, Hindi Antakshari, classical singing, dumb charades, dance, street dance, rock shows, saw students rooting for their favorite team. Food court, parking and other suitable arrangements were made. Sponsorships are pouring in and the companies vied for sponsorship as this give them good branding coverage. Stalls, Kiosks and other branding activities were also present within the premises. On 16th evening the sports and cultural extravaganza was unveiled with a grand finale at the humongous and spectacular ACS convention Hall with a host of colorful cultural programs. Cine actors Mr. Niranjan Shetty, Ms. Aishwarya Nag graced the occasion and distributed the sports and cultural awards. Smt. Seethalakshmi w/o of Sri. A.C. Shanmugam, Chairman RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions presided over the function. Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Seethalakshmi congratulated the organizers for putting up such fantastic show. The evening saw a host of performances by different colleges, western dances and finally the most anticipated event- The Fashion Show. The evening got concluded with DJ nights where all the students grooved to the foot thumping music. Thus “SYNERGIA” was certainly an event to remember.
