Walkathon

Commemorating Doctor’s Day which is observed on 1st July, Rajarajeshwari Medical College and Hospital had organized walkathon on 16th July at 8:30am from Rajarajeshwari Medical College to Kengeri Metro Station. This program was organized under the theme “A step towards Healthy Life”. Mr. Santhosh Babu, Superintendent of Police, Ramanagar District, was the chief guest. Renowned female solo full time travel biker Ms. Bharti Kotla was the Guest of Honour. More than 1000 doctors and students participated in this walkathon with social concerns. In order to make Doctors Day a more comprehensible, the doctors from Rajarajeshwari Medical College distributed “Pito Chairs & Hearing Aid Machines” free to those children who are suffering from cerebral palsy. The program successfully ended with high tea provided to all the staff and participants.
