Workshop – Endoscopic Septoplasty & Endoscopic Sinus Surgery
This surgical workshop will be broadcasted across 12 major cities in India and abroad. Department of ENT & Head and Neck Surgery is in collaboration with Department of Anesthesiology with aegis of NEAT, Bangalore to conduct this online live surgical workshop.

The Department of ENT & HNS in association with Department of Anesthesiology and critical care Organized a program on SURGINOVA LIVE SURGERY WORKSHOP ON ENT RHINOLOGYon 4th September 2021.
The Guest speakers of the program were Dr Deepak Haldipur , Dr Vishwas K V , Dr Naveen K. and the Speakers were Dr. Rajiv S R & Dr.Ashish Rao
The other dignitaries for the day were HOD of ENT & HNS Dr. T. M. Nagaraj, Dr Srirangaprasad, Dr Girish Hongal, Dean, Dr Sathyamurthy, Principal, Dr.Naveen, Medical superintendent, Dr Praveen Kumar , Deputy MS, Dr Vivek Gundappa, Vice principal, Dr Praveen G.
Total number of registrations done was 2625. More than 1375 Live view audience participated. There were 15 live screening centers across India to watch this workshop in live and more than 300 members took part at auditorium.
The program started with an Introduction and a welcome speech by Dr T M Naragraj, HOD, Department of ENT & HNS following with Lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. The Program started with Live surgery broadcasting from Major OT with telecast all over the world. At 9am – Septorhinoplasty by Dr Vishwas K V, next 11am- Functional Endoscopic sinus surgery by Dr Deepak Haldipur and 1pm – Endoscopic septoplasty.
Dr Ashish Rao gave a talk on Role of inferior turbinate surgery in allergic rhinitis patient. Dr Rajiv SR gave a talk on Postoperative care in Endoscopic sinus surgery in 2nd session of surgery. The live workshop was telecasted in various centers across India & was broadcasted live for those who were registered. Live interactive sessions were conducted between surgery by active participation of other senior, junior consultants across the world. The program ended with Vote of Thanks by Balachandra Joshi ( Alkem coordinator ) and was followed by Lunch session
