Workshop on Curriculum Implementation Support Program

Medical Education Unit has organized a workshop “Curriculum Implementation Support Program” Date : 22nd and 23rd September 2020 Time : 9:30 onwards Venue : College fourth floor Lecture Hall ALL ARE CORDIALLY INVITED Curriculum Support Implementation Program, CISP-2 was conducted on 22ndand 23rd September 2020 at smart class room, 4th floor ,Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital. This program was conducted under the guidance of Dr Kiran Mahadevappa, MCI observer from St Johns Medical college and Hospital who joined the program online. 30 faculty from various disciplines including Dean Dr Satyamurthy B, Principal Dr Naveenes, HODs of various departments attended the workshop . CISP -2 was a orientation workshop for the faculty about the new curriculum, Curriculum based medical education being introduced for medical education from last year. The program began with registration and ice breaking by Dr Leena Raveendra , MEU co-ordinator. The sessions were conducted by 10 resource faculty trained by nodal centre – St Johns Medical College and hospital. The workshop began at 8-45 am on both days and ended at 5pm. Emphasis in the workshop was on the changes being implemented and how to implement the curricular changes. Pre test and post test was conducted to know the success of the program. The program ended with vote of thanks and feed back from the participants about the challenges in implementing the new curriculum and ways to overcome them.
