WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

The World Environment Day was established in 1972 by the United Nations General Assembly. It is celebrated every year in the month of June on 5th. It is to encourage people to change their attitude towards the environment for making a safe future. The theme for World Environment Day celebration 2016 was “Connecting People to nature”. The condition of our environment is getting declined day by day because of the pollution and global warming. We should create awareness and promote eco-friendly development in our country in order to save the environment for better future.

The Nursing college staff, Civil Department staff, Teaching staff, Non-teaching staff of Medical college and the Management actively participated in this crusade and planted saplings in the campus of Rajarajeswari Medical College.
