World Environment Day – 2023

The main purpose of the World Environment Day is to spread awareness about the current conditions of the Environment. On this day people come together to join in efforts to improve our life. Every year there is one theme or Environmental problem which is focused upon and a pledge to combat that problem is taken that year. Organizations all around the World come together on this day, to take small steps to improve our future. Schools and offices encourage workers and students to plant trees or clean up some local land. These small efforts can leave a big impact on the Environment. Therefore, this Day serves as an eye-opener for many citizens who are unaware of all this. It spreads awareness to ordinary people about the current situation. In addition, it also encourages everyone to keep their Environment safe and clean so that everyone has a clean, green and prosperous future.   The Management, Raja Rajeswari Medical College and Hospital in coordination with the Department of Civil planted many saplings around the Campus of RRMCH to mark this Day.
