World Health Day 2022

The “World Health Day” is observed every year on 7th April. This year the theme is “Our Planet Our Health”. Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital conducted the ‘World Health Day” at Kadamba Hall on 7th April 2022. The program was presided by Dr. Sathyamurthy – Dean, Dr. Praveen – Medical Superintendent, Dr. Vivek Gundappa – Deputy Medical Superintendent. Dr. Shashikala Manjunatha, Professor & HOD, Department of Community Medicine, all the staff from other departments and Students were also present in the program. This program was organized by the Dept of Community Medicine, RRMCH. Both Dean and Medical Superintendent gave thematic lectures on the Health with relevant videos and PPT presentations. The program followed by a brief speech by Dr Shashikala Manjunatha, Prof & HOD, Dept of community Medicine. The most significant part of the program was pledge taken by all the participant present in the program regarding the improvement of “Our Planet Our Health” with the dictum of “Think Globally Act Locally”. However practicable and whatever ability possible like – having right knowledge, attitude, practice towards environment protection -legislations, Policies Programs etc were also included in the interaction.
