World Malaria Day 2022
World Malaria Day is an occasion to highlight the need for continued investment and sustained political commitment for malaria prevention and control. Malaria is a preventable and treatable disease that continues to have a devastating impact on the health and livelihood of people around the world.
In view of the World Malaria Day 2022 theme “Harness innovation to reduce the malaria disease burden and save lives “ Poster competition was organized by department of microbiology for 2nd year MBBS students on 25/04/2022.
Three Students (Ananya C, Aryan Vijh, Akhila S) participated in the competition. Students had done the Poster related to innovations in prevention of malaria. Dr. Shashikala Manajunath, Professor & HOD of Community Medicine department judged the competition. First prize was awarded for the winner and others were given participation certificate.
