World Tuberculosis Day 2023

World Tuberculosis (TB) Day is observed on 24th March every year to spread awareness about the disease and how best to combat it. India aims to make the nation TB-free by 2025, whereas the Global Target for TB elimination is 2030. Theme for 2023: Yes! We can end TB!   In view of the World TB Day 2023, a skit by2nd year MBBS students was organized by department of microbiology on 24/03/2023 in Hospital lobby for creating awareness for the patients and their attenders. A total of 12 Students performed in the skit. Students had done the skit related to Tuberculosis infection, its transmission, clinical features and prevention measures.   The students were appreciated for their performance by Dr. Sathyamurthy B. Dean, Dr. Praveen Kumar. MS and all clinical HODs and staff members.
